1st: you want to know how it's work?
This engine has two turbine propeller set inside the inlet manifold other inside the exhaust manifold ( saw the image) for better understanding.Those two turbine is joint by one axle and powdered by the engine.When inlet turbine runs it get air from atmosphere and compressed the air through the air to engine via inlet valve. remember compressed air has more oxygen then same volume of normal pressured air.More oxygen mean fuel burn much faster and gives more power through engine.
When this air stay inside the combustion chamber it mixed with the fuel and burn.For petrol engine it's burn by spark plug or for diesel it is done by injector.For diesel engine air go inside the combustion chamber via injector.when fuel is burn it's make exhaust gas.second turbine also running it suck the gas and relished the gas to atmosphere.it done it's work at fast speed then normal engine because normal engine has no exhaust turbine.
1) So in this process this engine burn more fuel,gives more power then normal engine at same time. 2)more oxygen meal fuel burn rate is high,gives more fuel efficient.
3)more oxygen and fuel burnt rate is more, gives more power then same time and same size of other normal engine.
2nd:can you make it at home?
It is possible to make.If you make very good efficient turbine and assembled then is proper place also proper way, it is possible to make turbo engine at home.
